Tax Collector
The Town Collector is responsible for the collection of:
- Real Estate Taxes
- Personal Property Taxes
- Motor Vehicle Excise Taxes
- Boat Excise Taxes
- Sewer Billing*
- Trash Payments
- Cemetery Billing
- Other Department Accounts
*Note: Residents pay their water bills directly to the Springfield Water & Sewer Commission. For questions about your water bill or if you wish to dispute it, you can call the Springfield Water & Sewer Commission’s Customer Service line at 413-452-1393 or email them at billing@waterandsewer.org.
Sewer bills are currently sent out annually by the Town of Ludlow and should be paid directly to the Town of Ludlow. Online payments are encouraged. If paying via personal check, please be sure to indicate the bill number and/or the bill that payment is to be applied to.
Additionally, the Collector researches and prepares Certificates of Municipal Liens. The Municipal Lien Fee is $50.

In office payments are accepted through cash or check. Online payments can be made through checking or saving accounts.
